Well, it has been almost 6 months since I've blogged and a lot has happened since then. I've kept up with a decent amount of my money making activities, but I had to cash out all my stocks because I bought a house.
Let me tell you something: buying a house is fucking EXPENSIVE.
I'd have rather not cashed out everything. I feel like I was just starting to make some progress that I could see and measure. Instead of only making money by making money, I was finally starting to see DOLLARS in dividends instead of CENTS.
But hey, the best time to start something is right now, so that's what I'm doing. Hopefully I'll be more active. I'm going to be back at it. Buying small amounts of dividend stocks. I think I'll be chasing bigger returns at the start, but who gives a shit at $100/trade, right?

July....Everything
Yup, haven't written anything in a while. I'll blame the summer. Been outside. Been playing basketball, spending time in the gym, just being outside. Also I'm super lazy. That is half the point of this project, the enable my laziness.
Here is what I made in July from Swagbucks and Mturk:
Pretty shitty, but $70 gets me closer to my goal and gets my snowball rolling faster.
I made a purchase. I said I wanted to buy something big and famous, so I went out and bought Microsoft.
Not bad.
And then I made 3 dividends:
Which is pretty damn rad.
Made 2.61 on the month which is my best month so far.
I'll be down in August as I think the only dividend I'll get is from Realty Income Corp, but that's ok, I'll hit 2.20 or something from that and be happy. Then I think I'll cash O, MSFT, and ADM all in September, but I haven't looked close enough to be sure.
So, I earned $70+ from the net, $2.61 from dividends, and bought some high tech stock. Not a bad month for the summer.
I think as soon as I hit enough to buy 2 shares I'll be back buying Realty Income to keep pumping up that monthly dividend until I hit $1000 invested. We'll see. Maybe every other month or something.

June Dividends
Ok, I'm back after only a couple of days. Hope everyone had a fun 4th of July.
Now that July is here, and has been for a week, its time to take a look at my dividends for June.
Anyone remember what I made in May? I won't make you click back over. It was $0.76. That's some shit money. Gotta get that number up. Well, I did in June. They May dividend was from Realty Income (O) and I actually bought more shares of that in April but AFTER the ex-divdend date, so I didn't get it in May, but I got it in June. I also got another round purchased so June was a big bump. But lets take a look.
Would you look at that I got 2 dividends. A total of $1.80 for the month. That is not too bad.
And all of it got automatically reinvested back into my stocks. So eventually the free passive money that I made will...make me free passive money. And eventually that will go a third and fourth generation and on and on until I get old and start taking the actual money. Beautiful.
So hell yeah! We're moving up in the world. My portfolio is going up through new money and through dividends, and I'm loving it. I'll see you back soon.

June Wrap Up
Wow, and I thought May was a shitty month. June was even worse. I made less money and I only wrote two blog posts. What's going on there? Eh, life stuff. Work has been stressful so I don't have much time to slack and earn. Oh well, I made some money, bought a bit of stock, and we're moving on.
First of all, I bought some stock and didn't blog about it.
I picked up 4 more shares of Realty Income Corp (O). I like the monthly dividend, what can I say. This brings me up to 12 shares purchased (plus some reinvested divdends.) At the current monthly dividend rate of $0.1895 that gives me a monthly income of ~$2.27 which all gets reinvested. With a current price of $45.39 I buy .05 shares per month. Not a huge amount, but the snowball is rolling. Slowly, but surely it will pick up steam.
And now for my shitty money making:
So look at that, between Swagbucks and Mturk I made less than $100. Shitty shitty, but I'm still motivated to keep going and keeping that ball rolling downhill.
I'm thinking about moving away from Realty Income for a while and getting into some more well known companies. I like watching CNBC and watching something I own run across the ticker. Gives me a bit of a thrill. So I'm thinking about Microsoft. Who knows, I think I'll cash out around the 9th so I can buy something around the 15th. Until then I just gotta keep earning.

May Dividends
Yep, I'm still a shitbag blogger. Much like my dividend portfolio, it is taking some time to get going here. Once I get ramped up and have more things to talk about, I'll probably be posting more, but at the moment, it is summer, I'm pretty focused at the gym, and when I have extra time I'm using it to bring more money to my portfolio.
So here is my May Dividends post that I'm writing with only a week left in June. Fuck it.
So would you look at that, I exaggerated when I said dividends. Only one. But it is better than April.
In April I made $0.20. And in May I made $0.76. That's some m'fing progress, am I right?
I've got a big surprise coming: I got 2 dividends in June already.
I've been thinking about diversifying with my next purchase. Get some more companies involved. I think it will look cooler when I look back and see 3 or 4 dividend payments per month. Even if they're twenty cents each instead of just one payment of eighty cents. I think it will be better for moral to see them coming in.
So that was my May. I'll get another post up before the end of the month and then be back the first week of July with my June recaps.

May Wrap Up
Well, May was a pretty shitty month. At least for this blog and my money making. I had my birthday, Mother's day, Memorial day, lots of socializing. And work was feast or famine. Either I had so much work to do that I couldn't try to earn at work, or I had no work to do and went home early. And when I go home early, I'm wanting to hit the gym or relax, the last thing I want to do is take some boring ass surveys. That's why I do them at work.
As you can see I made under $100 this month. Shitty shitty shitty. I was able to pull in some additional revenue to make up some of the difference. I sold some shit on ebay that netted me $28. I used another app called AppTrailers that I cashed out for $5. I managed a PerkTv reward for $25. And then I transferred $25 in real month to make up the difference. I'm planning my withdrawl for the 9th this month, so we'll see what that all adds up to. Hopefully somewhere around $200.
I'll try to be more regular on these posts. Next up this week will be a recap of my May dividends. And I love talking about free money.
